Recording a Contractor's Compensation Event Notification

This topic describes how to record a Contractor's Compensation Event Notification (CNCE).
  1. From the Contract Communication tile, select New communication. The New communication page appears.
  2. In the Select communication type box, select Contractor's compensation event notification.
  3. Enter a descriptive Title in the box.
  4. Select the Initiated date by clicking the calendar icon ( ), and then selecting a date.
  5. Click Save changes. The communication page opens to the Attributes tab.
  6. Enter Details about the communication.
  7. Select the applicable phrase from the Clause 61.3 - Compensation event clause 60.1 sub-paragraph list.

  8. Select the Event started to occur on date by clicking the calendar icon ( ), and then selecting a date.

  9. Select a Communication status from the list.
  10. Select the Date issued date by clicking the calendar icon ( ), and then selecting a date.
  11. You can associate additional objects to the communication, such as other communications, documents, files, and notes. For more information see Adding Objects to Communications.
  12. From the Work Task menu, select Accept.
